A packaging supplier’s turnaround time can make or break your deadlines, and it’s one of the most important factors when shopping around for prices. So how long would it take to get your custom packaging done here?

The answer is that it depends on several factors.During times of profound disruption such as the COVID-19 pandemic, please take note of the standard production times below and account for an additional delay of at least one week, as getting supplies and production workflow becomes unpredictable:

If you need a few thousand boxes or less (which is considered a small order), you can expect a turnaround of about 7-10 business days after everything is finalized. This is also the case if you’re sticking with basic printing options.

On the other hand, if you need thousands upon thousands of boxes, you can expect a turnaround of about 10-15 business days after your order is finalized. If you’ve chosen special options such as unique textures or foil, these require extra steps in printing that also push the production time to around 10-15 business days.

In either case, the full quoting, customization and order process typically takes at least several weeks, so be sure to start asking around for quotes early! This will ensure that you have plenty of time to recover from any unexpected delays or issues that pop up.
